Local Organization Continues to Spread Its Educational Mission at TMEA Conference

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NASHVILLE, TN – The local music organization, ScholarshipAuditions.com, was an exhibitor at the Tennessee Music Educators Association (TMEA) Professional Development Conference from April 11th through April 12th in Nashville, TN. During the event, the organization shared its new college recruitment platform for the performing arts. The platform includes both music and musical theatre. The mission of ScholarshipAuditions.com is to streamline the application and auditioning process for students. It also provides scholarship opportunities.

“From the start, we were met with a great deal of enthusiasm,” said Dr. Randall Bayne, CEO of ScholarshipAuditions.com. “For instance, universities and conservatories at the TMEA Conference showed an immediate interest in using our recruiting platform. Many of the teachers received packets of information to take back to their students. The goal was to help them in the steps of applying to colleges. It is very fulfilling to interact with educators and leaders in the hope that we may all improve the access of education to performers.”

Then, Dr. Bayne went on to say, “By the end of the TMEA Conference, we met with both middle and high school students to see how we could assist them in the college music process. Also, we were pleased to see how excited parents were to learn about our platform. We are sure that this platform will make a powerful impact on students.”
